EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATIONS
To ensure clarity on employment status, roles, benefits, and tenure, the Company classifies its workforce into the following categories, in accordance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
Probationary Employees
Probationary employees are newly hired individuals engaged on a trial basis to assess their suitability for regular employment.
Duration The probationary period shall not exceed six (6) months or one hundred eighty (180) calendar days, counted from the employee’s first day of work.
Performance Evaluation]
During the probationary period, employees shall be evaluated based on:
- Established performance standards (KPIs); and
- Behavioral and conduct expectations
- These standards shall be clearly communicated to the employee at the time of hiring or engagement.
Regularization or Separation
Successful completion of the probationary period is a prerequisite for regularization. The Company reserves the right to terminate the relationship at any time during the 180 days if the employee fails to meet the established standards.
A Notice of Regularization shall be issued upon successful completion of probation.
Leave Benefits and Entitlements
Upon regularization, employees are covered by the Company’s 30-day “Safety Net” Leave Pool, subject to the following conditions:
- The first five (5) days of the Safety Net Leave are not immediately available upon regularization.
- Eligibility to utilize the initial five (5) days shall commence only after the employee has rendered at least one (1) year of continuous service with the Company.
- Service Incentive Leave (SIL) shall be granted only after completion of one (1) year of service, in accordance with the Labor Code and Company policy.
- All leave benefits remain subject to Company rules on accrual, usage, approval, and documentation.
Regular Employees
Regular employees, also referred to as Permanent Staff, are those who have successfully completed the probationary period and have been formally issued a Notice of Regularization.
Nature of Work They perform functions that are necessary or desirable to the Company’s usual business or trade.
Security of Tenure Regular employees enjoy security of tenure in accordance with the Labor Code of the Philippines.
Full Benefit Integration: Upon the effective date of regularization, employees are fully integrated into the Company’s benefit programs, including:
30-Day Safety Net Leave Pool: Access to the comprehensive leave pool for sickness, emergencies, or personal time, subject to the One-Year Service Rule for the initial five (5) days as specified in the Leave Policy.
Government-Mandated Benefits: Continued and consistent contributions to SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF (Pag-IBIG).
Performance Incentives: Eligibility for annual performance reviews, salary adjustments, and project-based bonuses as determined by Management.
Career Development: Priority access to Company-sponsored training, certifications, and internal promotion opportunities.
Project-Based Employees
Project-based employees are engaged for a specific project, undertaking, or phase thereof, with a defined scope and duration.
Duration
Employment is co-terminous with the project or project phase, the completion of which is determined at the time of engagement and specified in the employment contract.
Employment Status
Project-based employees are not regular employees. Their employment automatically terminates upon the completion of the project or project phase for which they were hired.
No Automatic Regularization
Completion of a project does not result in automatic regularization. Regular employment may only arise upon:
- Completion of probation (if applicable); and
- A separate written offer of regular employment duly approved by Management.
