Per Diem Allowance

To cover meals, incidental expenses, and minor costs associated with being away from home, the Company provides a fixed daily Per Diem Allowance.

Eligibility and Duration

• Coverage: Employees are entitled to the per diem for the entire duration of the assignment, starting from the day of departure from the main office/home until the day of return.

• Independence from Hours: The per diem is a fixed daily rate. It is provided regardless of the actual hours logged or whether the travel day was shorter or longer than 8 hours.

Rates and Disbursements

• Standard Rates: Per diem rates are determined by HR/Admin based on the destination's cost of living.

• Disbursement: Allowances are typically disbursed in advance or as part of the next payroll cycle upon submission of an approved travel itinerary.

Calamity Protection Clause

As per the Company’s Weather & Emergency Policy, if a field employee has already deployed to the site when a work suspension is declared, they remain entitled to their full Per Diem for that day to cover subsistence costs (food/incidentals), even if no work is performed.
