IT Equipment Policy
The Company provides IT equipment to employees to facilitate the efficient performance of their duties. All employees are expected to use Company-provided devices responsibly, securely, and in accordance with Company policies.
Ownership
- All IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and accessories, remains the property of the Company.
- Employees are responsible for the proper care, maintenance, and use of all assigned equipment.
Authorized Use
- IT equipment is intended solely for work-related purposes.
- Personal use must be minimal and must not interfere with work responsibilities.
- The installation of unauthorized software, applications, or games on Company devices is strictly prohibited.
Security and Confidentiality
- Employees must protect all devices with passwords or other security measures.
- Company data stored on IT equipment is confidential and must not be shared with unauthorized persons.
- Any lost, stolen, or compromised equipment must be reported immediately to the IT department or Management.
Remote Work and Off-Site Use
- Employees working remotely must ensure that IT equipment is used in a secure and safe environment.
- Devices must not be shared with unauthorized individuals, including family members or friends.
- Any damage, malfunction, or technical issue must be reported promptly to IT support.
Return of Equipment
- Upon termination, role change, or at the request of the Company, all IT equipment must be returned in good working condition.
- Failure to return Company property may result in deduction from final pay or other legal remedies.
Misuse and Disciplinary Action
- Misuse of IT equipment, including negligence, unauthorized sharing of credentials, or illegal activities, may result in:
- Revocation of IT privileges
- Disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment
